I got a very very good deal on the car, so I don't think it's fair to use my purchase price for your purposes. I paid $35k for this car. I think you should be able to fetch closer to $39-$40k+ for your car assuming it's still show-room condition. You might want to advertise on the high end like $45k to give yourself some wiggle room to back down on the price.
Make sure you advertsize in Craigslist and pick either Cars.com or Autotrader to get national coverage.

Best of Luck! I am curious to see what you get!

Nice find. Can I ask what you paid? I am selling mother in laws 2006 cayman s with around 3500 MI. Wanted to get an idea of the premium for low miles.

I think everyone here is scared to be the "guineau pig". If they are truly Quiafe brand gears than there should be no issue with them as their other products are all supposed to be top notch (not speaking from experience).

Those gear prices are amazing. I would be very interested if you decide to purchase gears from Quaife?
I may go for it too.

I just found these for sale. Quaife gears at closeout prices... almost seems too good to be true. I will need to re-do my excel sheet based around some of these gears. I will call them tomorrow to make sure it's legit.

    Scott,
Sorry they are taking way longer than I had planned. I had to order out the aluminum and some new carbide tools. I just finished the prototypes and am sending them out for fitment checks. Because I am trying to pick up three different contact points I need to make sure the engine castings are consistent. I will not feel confident selling these if I only get 2 points of contact.

Thank you for your interest, I will be sure to post on the forum as soon as I get feedback!

When do you think you might have those jacking plates ready?
    Thanks,
    Scott
