Hello, I was wondering if you could avise me with an issue an I am having on my 2005 Cayenne Turbo. From your prior postings, it appears you were experiencing a similar issue. My car is clunking only on down shifts from higher gears. When accelerating at higher gears it bangs into the lower gear when down-shifting. Some people tell me to change the Transmission ECU for $600 and others say that it could be a valve body. I am also told that it could be the transmission itself meaning that these other repairs would be a waste of money. Could you let me know if you were able to get your issue resolved and what it took. Also if your issues were similar.
