OK - I checked out a shop in Bensenville that came highly recommended for a tranny leak, but I was not particularly impressed with their work. I also checked out a shop - Eurpoean Motors on Kedzie in Evergreen Park, but they couldn't keep commitments - had the car 2 weeks - and the owner was particularly surly...

Hate to do it, but I'll be going to the Porsche shop in Orland until I find a decent shop.

I am planning to do the general maintenance myself as I am pretty handy, I think. We will see. Just orderd parts for intake refresh and timing belt yesterday. I am however looking for a good 928 mechanic in the area to do any potential involved work like the clutch. I had the car checked out by Renniology, in the South Subs but didnot have any work done there so I cannot not reccommend but the shop seemed nice. I will update you on the process.
