HI Alex, are you still making Beru wire sets? If so, I have an '86 EFI twin-plugged Turbo that is having either plug or wire issues so I'm replacing both. Not including the connectors, the top plugs have ~9" wires and the lowers have ~16" wires. The current terminals on the coil end are the screw on types, but I'd like to change them to the ZLE267-M# types...I'm not a fan of the 'woodscrews'. If this is something you can help me with, please email me at chrisklee@progressivepackaging.net. thanks!

    Hello Alex,
If you still have the 993 wire set I will take it. Please let me know. This is perfect timing as mine are on the way out. Am I correct these are complete and ready to install?

    Regards,

    Darren

I've been looking around the forums for valve covers/plug wires as thats the next area of my car to receive attention and I've seen a few pictures you have posted. The engine on your car is redonculous. It is so immaculately clean I am just flabbergasted. Do you not drive it in the rain or does it have some absurdly low miles on it? how do you keep the darn thing so sparkling under there? I wish my 993 looked so nice.

Thank you! It will be interesting to get some real data on the engine tray issue, so many people are so opinionated about it. I always come down on the side, if Porsche designed it, I want to keep it, unless it can be proven otherwise with real data. I spend my time between Houston and Los Angeles, but the car is in Houston, and I only drive it, fall, winter, spring, so I am probably driving in ambient temps similar to yours.

Congrats on your new retirement! You will love it. I retired early when I was 50 (60 now), and have really enjoyed it. At first it is like a vacation, but at some point you have to work at it to make it happen. My experience, it is like hitting a golf ball, or tennis ball. There is very little difference, at point of contact, between a perfect stroke and a muff... Same with retirement! Anyway enjoy the ride! There was a Canadian author Ernie Zelinski, who wrote " The Joy of Not Working", really good, check it out.

I like the color of your car!

    Hi there,

Just a random one, would you consider shipping a set of leads to the UK?

    Many thanks

Alex...I still can't help myself but to drool all over your car.
Not that I didn't spend 4-5 years doing that anyways.
What the heck was I thinking?

    Happy New Year!
