    Hi ..

I am in the process of picking up a '87 911G and noticed you have something similar.

I am also in Ottawa ..

Is there an aircooled group in YOW or anything?

Be great to meet other enthusiasts.

    Thanks

    Andrew

I was looking at the photos you posted, are your wheels 6 and 7's? Do you use wheel spacers?

    [Read this 2nd]

Looks like we're ok, however there is an indicator on the battery that is red (instead of green). Not sure how long I can live with that. Wonder if I need to add electrolyte to it or smtg. Maintenance-free batteries are not actually maintenance-free....

So I used my motorcycle battery and jumper cables to put power to the fuse panel and pop-up the front (where the battery is) and back lids (where the jumping points are). Hooked up my motorcycle battery to the car's battery in front. Didn't work. Hooked up my battery booster at the back of the car (so now I have 3 batteries on the car!!) and it started.

Drove 45 minutes, stopped to see a house that's up for sale. NOTE: I popped the trunk and engine lid BEFORE stopping the car. All my batteries were stored in the trunk, and I need the battery to pop the trunk! Thank God I did, cuz the car wouldn't start again. Hooked up the 2 other batteries in the same way as before and it started. Got home, took the battery out, charged it over night. Put the battery back in this morning and the car started. Drove 45 minutes to the office. Shut the car off, and restarted it again.
