That's great cheers, think found the place, just in the messy process of stripping it all down!! Will give them a shout as going to at least get the alternator fan and shroud done. Also, useful to know as well if I'm stuck ta, much appreciated. Cheers, Paul
Hi, just reading your post on valve cover powder coating as just in the process of trying to sort out the dreading oil leaks so doing a raft of stuff at the same time. Have you details of the powder coaters please? Looking at the pics looks a good job. Thanks, Paul

Hi, with regards to paint. It all depends on money, how far do you want to go?
In an ideal world you,d remove everything, bare metal re-paint.
In the real world removing only 1 wing will work fine, the only issue will be removing/refitting the wing trim (the rubber piece that splits the scuttle from the wing).
Not impossible but doable.
And the spoiler is removable from the lid so no issues there.
Lemass has a paint shop and would probably be able to give you good advice and in regards your rust repairs I was talking to Rob at www,racingrestorations.com and seem good but I may have found someone nearer to home another user Fuch also has an old school bodywork guy that may be worth a try , I am plodding away cleaning/refurning/prepping the multitude of bits that comes off.
I have been using the bilt hamber high zinc , on some of the bumper brackets that were good enough to save and touching up any area`s in the wheelarches that need touched up and then spraying on top, I haven`t cleaned the inner wing up as you have done yet but my intention was the bilt high zinc and then spray it on top, a few different options you dont want the bare metal sitting for any length of time ideally you want to seal it as soon as you have taken it back to bare metal Por do a good product called metal ready (available from frosts) that you brush on again gives it a zinc coating most paint shops will give it a coat of epoxy primer .
