Hi Slate - Strosek Ultra suggested asking you about starter motors in Australia. The starter on my 87 s4 stopped working. I removed and stripped it, and the brushes are worn away. The web doesn't show me any Bosch 312 series bushes for sale.
I don't really like the idea of the mini starter replacements, but also don't like $1500 for a new one.
Any thoughts or suggestions.

Hey Slate, did you ever complete your carbon roof project? Any chance you know where I can source a panel for my car?
I was going to do the same thing you planned, buy a new panel and make a mold, but it seems you can't buy these panels anymore.

Paolo, you have to buy it from GM. All the parts except the MGW billet shifter come from a GM dealer. You just need to find one close to you. You may want to wait to see how I get on as there is numerous obstacles to overcome to complete the project in a completely OEM manner.
