My problem with GAA, is that Markus would spend too much time doing other things, and not much time actually working on the cars. He was doing racing stuff, airplane stuff, stuff with his kid, and so on, and was never there. He would say he was, but when I would stop by, it was only his helpers there. I think Markus knows what he is doing, and if it was just him doing all the work, he'd do a great job. But because he was hardly ever at the shop, the work too forever, and I was not impressed by the quality of his helper's work. I often had to take my car back because things were leaking, or not put together properly. I think that's because Markus wasn't the one doing the work. I finally got fed up when I caught him openly lying to me several times. I'd drive there in my rental car, call him on my cel phone, and he'd claim he was working on my car right that moment, but I could see with my own eyes that my 928 was covered in dust parked on the street.
I'm just messaging because I, too, have had a bad experience with Markus from German Auto Art. It took forever for me to get my car back and it was a lot more than I wanted to spend.
I would love to know what happened with you and if you have any affordable, and fair recommendations.
