    Hey Jack,

I am the Content Manager for the Automotive Group at Internet Brands, which manages the Rennlist.com site. We have "featured" you and your Porsche 911 in a slideshow published today. It will appear on the Rennlist home page and there is a forum thread linked to it so that forum members can chat about your car.
If you want to check it out, here's the article:

We love your 911 and your garage!

Hi Jack, this is Alex from France with my 993RSR that I'm looking to make streetable.
I've just seen your great Willow Springs video with Black Beauty II.
I cranked the sound up so high it drove my wife nuts. lol
    Couple of questions:
    - what camera/recording gear did you use (and how does it read engine RPM?)
    - what external mike did you use and where did you place it to get that GREAT engine noise with zero wind noise?
    Cheers,
    Alex

Thanks. Do you mean the splitter for the front? Yes, I made it. Not very well, but I made it.

Jack, your car is still the most desirable Porsche on the planet. Did you make the little front spoiler? or can i buy one somewhere?
    Thanks

    Jack,
I did not want to publicly post this reply to you, as it would imply more disagreement between our views than there is.

I suspect part of the reason you do not find any injuries from head impact to a cage in street wrecks is there are very few people who drive cars on the street with cages. one of my comments in an old post about my view of driving my car on the street with my cage is the fact I also ride motorcycles. the increased risk of injury due to having a cage in a street car is a compromise to the increased safety it provides if you had a rollover. and the risk of driving a car with a cage pales in comparison to riding bikes.

PS. I love your car. I would like to see a few more pics of it. I really like the older long hoods that are modified for the track.
