I have a repair shop in Modesto CA (Kruse Lucas Imports). I have a 1987 928S with a Jetronic controll
that has gone rich. It runs at 5% at first start and goes to 10% co within 2 minutes running. Wont go into close loop. Installed known good controller and it runs fine.
Part # 0 280 002 506. Can this be repaired with confidence.

Rich, I have a prob with my 85 928SManual trans. My car was not running for 8 yrs . replaced battery, fuel pump fuel filter flushed tank.installed new fuel gauge sender. installed new crank position sensor. engine will only start with fuel pump relay jumped . when running I have No fuel gauge and no temp gauge. How would I test my LH module? If it is bad how much to get it repaired? at wits end with it..
Can you test and/or repair the LH and EZK from an 86 928? I have a no start situation. All the standard testing has been done, relays, fuel pump circuit etc. No spark and no fuel pump. Any help would be appreciated.
Could you please send me the paper on the fuel distributor and pics if you have them please. I am getting plenty of fuel to the distributor but hardly any to injectors, It starts first turn but instantly shuts off. It is not a spark issue Thanks for your help Justin

I wrote a quite lenghty white paper that illustrates what the guts of the fuel distributor look like and what a person may do to clean it up, drop me a note and I'll send it. In my case I didn't clean it well enough and a rebuild by a specialist cured the problem.
