Hello Steve. It is still available. I've had several offers for trade, however, none old enough or in the condition I am looking for. Stephen 917-825-0559.

    Hi Frank!

Offhand, I don't know the OD, ID, and thickness so I'd need to chase down a pair to get you the dimensions. I may have some at the shop, but I won't get there until Monday.

No Easter break; this is our busiest time of year and I'm working 15/6 right now until Fall.

    Hello Steve,

Frank from Australia here. How have you been?

I wonder if you could help me with some information?
I want to install a set of turbo tie rod ends that I purchased from Pelican a few years back. ( nothing moves fast with my 911 down here)
However I've lost the two thick spacers. Being a Fitter and turner, I can part a few off in no time but I don't know the size.
Do you by chance know the O.D and thickness of these spacers?

Hope you're enjoying your Easter break.

    Kind regards,

    Frank McNeill

    Hello Steve!
I used all of the setting that you gave me and all worked great! Once again, Thank You! Steve, I have another question: What's the Timing Chain Tension for the 911 1974 Porsche? Natural touch - small amount of flex or No flex at all?

Hi Patrick,,.....I would check to see if the turn signal switch leaves are sticking. I've not seen this one yet, but thats where I would start the troubleshooting process.

Hi Steve, I have a 1996 993 C2 manual. I have recently been having issues withe the left indicator staying on after unlocking the vehicle. I have locked and re-locked the car, but this does not seem to correct the issue. After the car has sat for some time, at least an hour, if I unlock and lock the car it will correct it. My machanic beleives that it is related to the security system, even though he changed the indicator relay to try and fix it. Have you seen/heard anything like this before? Cheers Patrick

Use "E" cams since you have non-OEM pistons. Be sure to check piston-to-valve clearance!!!!!

Help. My goal is a car to drive a bit here and there. Go to some shows and take a tour once or twice a year. The car is a 914 with 9 years in restoration (done at home in slow motion). I've got a '79 3.0 in the machine shop. I have new 9.5-1 pistons and 46 PMOs. I was planning to have the stock cams reground to 964, but Richard at PMO said that was a waste of $. What cam profile is good for some light spirited driving? I'm in Seattle and was hoping to use pump fuel
    Thanks for any advice.

    Hi Solomon,

Sorry to hear of your starting issues; in most cases, its due to DME relay problems and I'd strongly recommend installing a new one ASAP.

Certainly, I'd also review when you did a complete tune-up as that can also affect starting and running. This means replacement of plugs, caps, rotors, ignition wires, and all filters.
