hey matt I have a full set of hard brake lines off an 83 if you are interested...

I'm not sure if that would work the engine oil coolers tend to have bigger holes in them if you go to the bone yard, cop cars have engine oil coolers in them you should be able to adapt one of them way easier and cheaper than that one... check the taxi cabs too alot of them are old cop cars....

Thanks man. I'm going to need it! I plan on taking this car all the way over the next few years so I can have something to be proud of. Just got to find that spark of motivation. Thinking it will come back once I can start buying more parts and finally get to hear it run!

No I haven't gotten rid of the car. I just purchased a motorcycle from a family member so my money has gone towards paying that off. I can't wait to get some more parts as I think I'm close to getting it running. Been really busy lately as well so haven't had much time to even clean her up.

I understand that you removed your engine to your 5spd. I am in the process of removing mine but I got stuck on the clutch. The WSMs are not very clear on the process with labelling parts and such. I have an 89 5 spd w/LSD. I blew the rod bearings at MOSPORT (now Canadian Tire Motorsports track) a couple of years ago. I purchased a replacement engine that was not as advertised and decided to rebuild it. I now need to remove the existing engine so that I can scavenge a buch of new parts I installed just before the implosion.

I am getting very itchy and hoping to have the car back on the road this summer.

I am located in Hamilton and i keep in touch with a couple of other 928 Rennlisters around. Imre has offered to give some assistance, but the more the merrier.
