Xpel Installation
Hi. Looking to get a front end bra installed in the city of Boston area. Just got a quote for $2k for Xpel full front end only (full hood, bumper, side view mirrors, etc). Experiences or feedback on price? Thanks so much!

The best guy (imo) in our area used to be North East Auto Salon, but sadly the owner passed away. They did a few of my new cars, and they were very, very good.
I've used Automotive Elegance in Andover for my Camaro a few years, and they did a pretty nice job. That's probably closer to you than my next suggestion.
I haven't gotten my 991.2 yet, but I will be calling Automotive Elegance and Zak's Auto, which is *very* close to my house. If Zak's has the kind of reviews for ppf that they have for repair and tuning, I'll probably end up there because I could walk home if needed

Anyone have any recent experience with getting their cars front end PPF'd in the area? What was the cost and what was the PPF manufacture? I have a quote for $1200, out in another state, for an XPEL front end job (fenders, hood, bumper - mirrors and lights are already done) on a 996 I am buying. Should I wait until the car is shipped here?

Last November I brought my car to Darien Detail in CT. They offer a Drivers Pkg which includes full front Xpel, rocker panels plus a swath behind the rear wheels. Price including tax $3,600. I'm tight with a dollar and felt it was worth every penny. My advise, just go to the best shop you can find.

AutoNuvo in Holliston did the PPF on my 2013 4S. This is the 2nd car they have done for me and both came out great.

As some one else said, go with the best place you can find. I let some kid do mine because he was available and I needed it done, and the guy with the great reputation was booked out for 6 weeks…tells you all you need to know.
needless to say the kid who could take my car right away, did a terrible job. He ended up having to redo it multiple times before it was acceptable
There is a lot of terrible wrappers / Detailers out there who are big on the sales pitch but badly lacking in skill
dont go with someone to save a few hundred or whatever, find the best guy locally or don’t bother doing it at all. It won’t look right
