GT3RS owner Obsessed Garage reviews C7 z06
Normally conservative and reserved GT3 owner Matt Moreman has acquired and introduces his z06. It appears he's really been bitten by the Corvette bug.
(I can't stop laughing... he nailed it)

As a former C7 Corvette owner IMHO he needs to drive it more- ripping out the mag ride to me is a big mistake, modifying for more horsepower is as well- do you really need more than 650 HP- the car is sideways half the time stock!
He'll figure it out hopefully before he dumps a lot of money in it.

I stopped watching his videos after his early ones because his hobby is too different from mine and that are quite long, but this one, this one was so funny, I watched all of it and I watched it again!!

Horsepower is so cheap and easy to add to those cars I get it. However as a former C7 z06 owner, I think the last thing the car needs to more hp. It's traction limited with the stock power.
@Montana i agree with you... I actually really appreciated the mag ride suspension. The car was capable of being comfy on the highway and stiff for the track. My issues were the lack of steering and brake pedal feel.

Mag ride is magic absolutely- just glides over roads that upset my 991.1 GT3 (they have made some improvements with the .2). Yeah, the steering is a little numb, but at least you can adjust it to a decent level of resistance. I had the carbon brakes very grabby at low speed, but a ton of braking power- no complaints there for me.

I am curious as to how he is going to lower it significantly with the magnetic ride. Do you have to disable it? Is it easier to lower a regular C7 without mag ride?
