I guess it also depends on what year of the Maserati you're looking at. The early ones look just like the later ones and are inexpensive to BUY (not repair). I've seen them trade in the mid-20s to low 30s.

I've never had a Maserati, but the car you mention WAS just about as exotic looking as anything I've seen on the road.

With that being said the resale is generally not going to be as easy on the Maserati as it is on the Porsche. Porsche's sell super quick and the enthusiast group far outnumbers the Maserartis so if you are looking for "liquidity" in the car it's not going to be there.
