That's ok. But I heard it was parked near a super cool Inka touring Alpina A4 clone at a recent car show in Burlingame.

Amazing, nothing like a complete restoration, and love the '70s style livery.
Love 2002s, wanted one since I was a kid.

How long did this take?

How about a couple clear pics with the hood down, ready to strike....?

Cool car. Should be nice once you clean it up.

Holy Crap! Andreas, move over, now this is obsessive!

Its really nice to see this sort of machinery that nicely cleaned up, I am amazed on how new it looks.

I guess you do not plan to drive it (it would almost be a shame..).

Cheers,

Mike

That's very nice. I've owned three 2002's. First one in 1975. A 1970 model. None of them looked like that, though. IMO 2002's are the reason BMW is what it is today.

Very nice restoration of a very cool car. My uncle got me interested in cool cars like Porsches and BMWs when I was about ten or eleven (1980ish). I fondly remember driving around with him in his (non Turbo)2002.

Incredible feat and truly amazing . How long did it take and any pictures of the interior?

By the way, the pictures of the bolts and nuts, are those the spare parts

I just have to post again. Your 2002 really makes me smile. What a damn cool car. I'd go crazy if I saw it on the street.

Absolutely beautiful. I like the Euro bumpers with those tail lights. I've had numerous 2002's over the years (but never a turbo). Great car. Interior smells just like a 993.
