It's not often that a 2 year old thread getting bumped back to the top is a good thing. But this one is definitely an exception...holy crap...what a nice car!!

Somehow I missed this post way back when. Alvin sure does love his cars. Amazing dedication to perfection.

What restaurant? Maybe go check it out.

And what's business and marriage have to do with infringing on car time?

I, too, missed this thread. Excellent work! Folks, this is what a demented mind can accomplish! Gorgeous, thorough job...One glaring deviation, tho: I'd exchange the red poly bushings for black and get away with it without points deduction.

Scott-- +1 ^^ What's Jeff's restaurant?

Hopefully catch up with you & other familiar faces in Monterey again soon.

...especially if you can drag Jeff or Alvin out from hiding (yes, I know - unlikely).

Alvin-- In the off chance you're anywhere you can see this: give me a shout.
Check out 'your' Big Bird, meeting up with Speedy again:
From the "Legends of the Autobahn" thread...

That looks absolutely spectacular. Love that car. You've done another beautiful job on one of your cars. Beautiful work.
