I don't seem to get any peeved off people around me when I drive my Porsche. In fact its quite the opposite. At least every other time I fill up I always get someone coming over asking about it. Get a lot of thumbs up everywhere.

I think why you see more "accidents" on Carfax is because these usually are daily drivers and many of those drivers have high standards. Let's be honest here these cars new or few years old aren't cheap. If there is small problem the owner usually gets it fixed. Where as your typical toyota camry owner may look the other way. So the nose over time gets some chips they get it repainted or door dings they get them fixed and it all shows up on carfax as work done.

I have not experienced any hostility toward my Panamera. My 914 gets lots of thumbs up (except from some pretentious 911 owners).

Few vehicles draw as much ire and hatred as the Hummer. In some cities, people cut the valve stems or deflate their tires. I remember when they were discontinued, the headlines in several automotive blogs read, "Decision to Stop Making Hummers Saddens ******** with Small Penises".

This has been by experience as well with my Panamera. That and every stupid Subie WRX wants to race (and get spanked.)

Where do you drive it?
I never get anything but compliments on mine, parking on the road and at gas stations.

To Starbucks on Sunday Mornings. Never once have left it parked on the road, never will.

Speaking of Starbucks I took the Panamera to its first cars and coffee in the parking lot of one. Many people checked it out but nobody asked me any questions about it. When I attend the same show with the 73' Firebird numerous people have questions and comments.
