Default Leaving GEICO, what are your recommendations?

Well guys and gals, I think I’ve been ripped off by GEICO long enough through 4 consecutive AMGs, it’s time for a change. Get this, they want to increase the premium from a 2021 E63S to a 2018 Panamera ST turbo by $1150 every 6 months. I’ve had enough. I’d love some recommendations from any of you. I’m a 50 year-old guy with no tickets or accidents and I drive less than 12K a year.

Thanks in advance

Check Porsche Auto Insurance. They give a low flat rate and charge per-mile on top of that, so the less you drive, the less you pay. I just have to submit a photo of my odometer towards the end of each month for billing.

Talk to the carrier for your homeowner's policy. I switched from Farmer's to Westfield (through our lender) and saved quite a bit of money on my auto premiums by bundling policies.

My total annual premium for 3 vehicles, including Panamera, plus my trailer, is less than just your 6 month increase amount. All agreed value coverage plus liability.

And who is your carrier if you don’t mind me asking? Haggerty is for pleasure vehicles only, Erie is only on the East coast and has great rates. I’m checking the others and I’ll report back.

I can also highly recommend Erie. I haven’t checked comparative rates for years, but I’ve used Erie for both home and auto insurance for 25 years, been through multiple claims (both home and auto) and have nothing but good to say about their responsiveness, professionalism and reasonableness to deal with.

Many of us are having major problems with USAA. I've had USAA insurance for over 50 years and I'm shopping for an alternative. Their service and their prices have been on a steady decline ever since they opened membership up to enlisted military personnel.

Amica beat USAA for me and the service is phenomenal. 20% rebate each year.
