Driving back up via Reno is awesome, mostly. Next time I would stay on 97 all the way up to 82 in toppenish. I5 from Eugene to Renton can apply a vacuum to my Johnson.

it has ppf back to the doors so didn’t worry about damage. The drive back gave me time to understand the vehicle’s functions and capabilities. It eats highway miles very well. For going as far as I can in one day I’ll take it over my ram 3500.

For multi day interstate work it’s still the megacab diesel on 37s.
Thanks man, this really helps. I'm working with Beverly Hills Porsche and they've been pretty good so far. Planning on making a trip down to handle everything in person within a week or so. If I do decide to drive it up then ppf is definitely a necessity. Any reason why you went through Reno and not straight up the I-5 or the coast?

Coast would be nice but slow. I5 is boring as watching paint dry. Going through Reno (from riverside) adds about 45 minutes to the drive before factoring on any traffic in la or sf. The drive from about Mono lake uo through Susanville and to Klamath falls OR is awesome with good pavement, twists, few cars.

it’s also how we run to Baja usually so I know the way and have some spots. Yoly’s Taqueria in Victorville is great 😊

now that you mention it, makes sense. 395 would be a way better drive than dredging it up the 5. If I end up pulling the trigger, I have to reach back out for a list of your favorite spots along the way!

Sweet ride and great Porsche color. She's made to be admired. Sounds like you've figured out that the smooth 100mph driving is only superceded by the twisty road ear to ear grin.

Congrats!

Care to share a mockup of what the 3D-printed wireless charger converted to MagSafe charger looks like?

Once I get to finishing the project I will post full instructions and files for print.

Gorgeous car, congratulations!

I have just started my search and I'm curious if there are significant differences in the .1 and .2? I found a 2020 that I love but it's a .1 car and I've read that .2 cars are better.

Any thoughts would be helpful!!

Great looking car, that color is awesome! Good luck with it, drive it like you stole it.
