I love the tinted taillights! Burmester added? I didn't know it was even possible!

They're actually brushed bronze and very difficult to photograph.

I got it done at a Porsche dealer. The service director didn't want to take on the project, however the shop manager did. After probing I found out they had concerns over how many hours it would take. I agreed to take on the risk and they took on the project. I'm thrilled with it.

I'm really happy with how the paint turned out but when the car looked like this I won't lie I started having doubts. I had never gotten a car painted or even knew someone who had.

That was the first reactionary thought from the penny pincher in me says this wasn't worth the $$$ for an "old" car. But the enthusiast in me says "F yeah!" - its a car you love it doesn't have to make sense. More power to you OP I love it.

The third pic in particular looks amazing.

Was it also black before, or did you change colors?

Also, I'm glad you were able to do the Burmeister, would you say it's a significant upgrade since you've now had both systems in literally the same car? I have Burmeister and think it's a huge upgrade, but so many people seem to think it's no different than the Bose??? (I think those people are crazy, and I'm not even some super snobby audiophile)

I don't think it's "old". I think this person did what we all wish we could. Lived by Ferry Porsches "I couldn't find my dream car so I built it"

This man couldn't find his dream Panny so he built it. 10/10

Good on you! Yeah I’m jealous. I have white and it still shines but would like a change. Tried to order a new one but Porsche is stingy with the allocations.

I had same color before. After almost 7 years of ownership I couldn't stop the wear and all panels needed to be re-painted.

The Bose in my 2012 was awful. The Bose systems in more recent 2018+ Cayenne / Macan sound pretty decent. I'm obviously biased but I think the Burmeister sounds fantastic. Being honest here, the bluetooth on both Apple and Android don't sound good at all for music. I use a direct USB connection wtih an iPad / Apple music and it sounds really good.

Sorry, I think that was unclear wording, I wasn't really trying to call his car old (I have a 2012, lol). It was supposed to be "tongue in cheek". I agree 100% with what you said.

I agree, I also use wired because it sounds noticeably better.

Looks awesome, but I'd be going back and having them install the badges correctly👊

I agree, playing music via Bluetooth doesn't sound HiFi on the Burmeister. It seems flat, lacking highs and lows. It's difficult to describe but it almost sounds like the sound quality of being on a phone call, but an enhanced audio on a phone call.
USB sounds amazing and powerful. I believe I had a CD playing at one time, and that sounded great as well.
