It's same as the new Cayenne's interior right?

Love the physical climate control buttons but hate the new gear switch.

Interesting...
- Not sure how I feel about the new cupholders, having two identical sizes and cover over them is nice but looks like theyre both small cupholders?
- A lot of blank shiny black space on the center console once you close the cupholder covers, bleh
- Not a fan of the instrument cluster
- Not a fan of the gear stub
- The red interior also looks like it has significantly more black now, rather than being almost full red from the dash down.

I'm not convinced that's an improvement. Having a digital tach doesn't make it better. There will be lots of alternative configurations for the screen but everyone will leave it in the normal config. 5 dials, Tach in middle, temps etc. Like we all do with our cars. The rest is underwhelming, it's not as out there as I thought it would be and I guess I like it a bit more as a result but I'm struggling to see it as an improvement. Maybe it will be better in the flesh

Wow...definitely not an improvement over the 23! Why does the center console need to be so large...with no gear shift? And like the 24 cayenne...so much more black plastic... Really happy to have the last of the gear shift models!!

There are 3 main reasons for the changes:

1. Cost cutting
2. Cost cutting
3. Cost cutting

Agreed. It's a step in the wrong direction.

I had a Taycan loaner with this layout and it feels waaaay cheaper than the current Panamera configuration

its not a NA problem, even in Europe where the ST was much more popular it is discontinued. As soon as I found out I snatched the last allocation within a a thousand miles or so. An early upgrade from my ‘22, but I just can’t bear the thought of the sedan version, and there is no equal to the Pan when it comes to cross continent drives which I do a few times a year. So sad to see the ST go. Hoping 2nd hand values for the ST puts it at a premium, no other sporty estate cars out there except cheap bimmers and old tech Audi’s unless you want a pipe and slippers Merc

The update on the headlights and the improvements on the suspension are appealing, but then again the ride quality on the current model is great anyway.

Interior wise, the current model is winner for me. I do not like the multitude of screens, the loss of the gear **** from the center console and that iconic layout of the cup holders. 2024 looks kind of generic. The current model has that amazing combination of sporty luxury.

My 2023 4S e hybrid with Truffle Brown interior and Paldao wood trim.

I so agree.... The 2-3 bad parts of the current lineup are the B pillar treatment (so cheap), the "knee rest" that could have been covered in leather and the massive slab of plastic in the upper part of the trunk.
If you omit those, the current interior is very luxurious, totally comparable with the likes of a Bentley (without the bling) or a GTC4 (without so many reliability issues).
A Taycan doesn't even get close. And then we get this "refresh". I'm not in a hurry to replace mine, at least not by a Porsche :|

Try a cayenne 24 if you are in doubt between the current and next Panamera models. The internal interface is the same. Lots to like and dislike.

back to interior - I’ll wait to see in person. But that looks nice to me.

I think the new interior could look nicer depending on the options available.
Like that center console looks oddly cheap and plain to me right now, but maybe with embossing or embroidery on top it'll look better?
Remove that front passenger screen and option something other than high gloss black for the trim, that would look better.
Maybe the black plastic cover between the HVAC and the cup holders will follow whatever trim option you pick like CF or wood, that would go a long way.

I did just now notice the extra bit of ambient lighting running along the edge of the dash, thats a nice touch actually. Not overkill like new MBs.

Went ahead and purchased a 2023 Panamera Turbo S. Got close to $20k off MSRP. There will not be any discounts on the 2024 and with Porsche not doing anything with the GTS / Turbo S models until later (if they follow what they have done in the past) i decided to pull the trigger. I really like the current interior and prefer an ICE only engine. I am sure I will go hybrid at some point but not quite ready for it yet. The car will be delivered early next week.

Great choice. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Colour/spec?
