Default Frustrated with 971 ownership, bad car karma

Purchased my CPO 2018 ST Turbo with tire and rim insurance last November. since then I have had the following issues;
* 3 weeks after purchase, spoiler stopped working
* replaced cardan shaft for the 57mph harmonic vibration issues
* tire damage after hitting debris that fell off trailer
* took object to glass panel between windshield and sunroof, shattered
* damaged rim and tire in construction area, 2.5 weeks to wait on new rim. Then 15 miles later, new tire took a nail ahhhh
* replaced battery
* now have airbag warning, tech said seat belt buckle fault, waiting on part.
* with new Duralast battery, start stop function warning.

just venting but certainly not having good car karma. Is it because I park outside? (Just joking here).
Current mileage is 30k.
also tired of seeing the service tech, nice guy but not my bff.

Sounds like a bad stretch of luck , things should improve ? Parking outside adds lots of risk as the car ages that's for sure .

Going after market on the battery may also add a potential risk ? I agree with it should not matter , but software has quirks designed into systems ?

Look at it like this , drive all the miles you can and it will improve the issues per mile factor !

My 971 turbo is parked in the garage all year except for the summer when I'm at my cabin for 3 months. At some point in the summer I'll have an issue, it could be AC, a random light, or something electrical. I'm convinced that it doesn't like being parked outside and the issues go away when I get back home and it's clean and garage kept.

I'm sorry to hear you are having so many issues in such a short time. Hopefully, once they are resolved, you will have many miles of happy ownership.

Can confirm. It’s like they’re allergic to dirt and excessive sunlight. My first year of ownership was all parked outside. For me it was the roof creaking, B Pillar trim cracking and the drivers door handle lock sensor intermittently working. Once I moved this summer and it’s always garage kept, I’ve had 0 issues.

I went through this when I bought my used Nissan truck back in 2010. It had several issues days after the purchase and had instant buyers remorse. I decided to just fix everything and with aftermarket replacement parts. The ends up being the best vehicle I’ve ever owned and still driving it to this day.
