It would be interesting to know how they dealt with the super high strength steels since they aren't supposed to be welded.

I suppose a fromer Porsche Boxster/Cayman manufacturer Valmet here in Finland helped them. At least Valmet have done it earlier when they fabricated Saab 99 Finlandia models.....

That's a great picture-My dad worked for Saab corporate in the 70's and 80's and got to take home a stretched 99 like the one shown there and drive it for a few days-it was pretty cool-
