Default Panamera Turbo Order: Wheel Size & Potholes

Hey guys-

I'm beginning the Panamera Turbo order process. I live in an area with bad roads and, with my 50mi round trip to work, I'm worried about getting flat tires/cracked wheels often.

Am I doomed to ordering my car with the wimpy 19's or can the 20" wheels survive potholes?

I have 20's on my 2012 PTT and have had no issues. I have 42,500 miles, have hit a few pot holes with no issue. I started with Factory Turbo II wheels, then went to HRE P40.

20's should be fine, even in NYC - I would probabaly stay away from 22's though.

You will love the car!

I have 20" on a P4S here in Colorado and recently went to the all season choice that Pirellie has to offer. Our roads have potholes often and snow in May.

My experience is that the 19s ride better, are quieter and handle broken roads better than the 20s. YMMV.

Bob .. you got me thinking - a new drop down list called Rennlist Acronyms That would work. Francesca

YMMV: "Your mileage may vary"
