Some time ago someone posted here on RL the idea of making a new Cowl Cover out of aluminum. That inspired me to develop some forms to make a repacement for the Cowl Cover out of some heavier ABS Plastic.

What I discovered is that the Cowl Cover is apparently the least most noticed item about the 928. I also noticed that the factory one is made very flimsy and out of really poor plastic.

I decided to make two versions of the Cowl Cover--one to have the provision for the intensive washer opening and one without. The one without is therefore good for all the early cars and then the GTS cars. The one with is good for S4 and GT cars. Mine are made out of ABS Plastic about twice as heavy as the original ones.

I also provide a replication of the Shell Stickers, and a replacement for the Cowl Seal. The stickers are $5 each and the Seal is $15. The S&H is $20 to domestic addresses.

I just had a fresh batch of these Cowl Covers formed and am in the process of trimming and finishing them. The cost is up some so the price is increased to $90 each. The S&H is $20 to domestic locations and $55 to most foreign, except Canada which is $40. The cowl Seal is still $15 and the Shell stickers are still $5 each.
