I don't have a V6, but I know people are always asking about this. Seems a little too good to be true for the price of ~$600.

That is an universal kit, it will only give you problems and tuning headaches. Better buy an used CTT

There are all sorts of VWs running heavily boosted VR6 motors with little issue.

Since the V6 is really a VW VR6 with a worked over intake I don't see why you couldn't start with a VW turbo kit.

I've seen GTIs with 500+WHP

Might be a sweet set up. Decent fuel mileage when not in full boost, but wicked quick when on boost.

make no mistake... R32 Turbos can be NASTY. And yes, 500 at the RW is common. You can get a nice balanced kit with a cylinder head spacer to drop the CR to 9:1 and a better quality turbo and good parts for about $3500. Run 12-15 PSI and it's 400 at the RW (aka more than a GTS)
