Default HERE IT IS-- '11 CS Black/Black

Well, it's raining, but a took a bunch of pics for y'all.

Before the unveiling, a special thanks to Alfie at IRA Porsche in Massachusetts for all of his help putting this together, from the slection process, ordering and tracking her on the way over...and of course the emotional parting/trade-in of my beloved '06 CS.... If you are in the market give him a buzz...

A few things to note in the pictures.

1. I swapped the pumpkin side markers for the clear ones (ordered from Sunset...they said I was the first order they got!). Looks much better... If you look at all the brochures, they use the Euro (clear) markers...There is a reason for this... But don't forget the amber bulbs otherwise you will get dinged on inspection in the US.
2. The interior leather is of amazing quality, and the stitching is really nice... With the full leather option, you are covered in it and the car will smell like leather for 5 years... Trust me, my '06 was leather....

3. Pano Roof is a must if oyu like the targa/cabrio openess...Really slick in an SUV. There is some sort of mesh screen that pops up wehn you open the roof (maybe for wind noise) and I wonder how that will hold up over time because it seems a little light and flimsy, but it looks like it could be easily replaced f it is worn or damaged.

4. Crests in the headrests were done by the Exclusive Programme.

5. Interior molding is piano black. It's the first I saw it in a full leather car, but I like the look as it sets off against the aluminum.

6. I'll give driving impressions after some seat time, but so far I've notice that it feels really fast compared to my old CS....Steering feels very light at slow speeds..Need to get used to that as I like the feel of a heavy wheel.... Engine note is very nice, and I have not even opened her up yet...

7. The wheels are 19' Design II's...I really like the 5 spoke open design.

8. I mentioned on the other thread...The heated windshield has a filament in it which seems to cause a lot of glare at night from on coming lights, signals etc. The filament becomes very noticeable and difuses the lights. Hopefully this will be practical in the winter because otherwise I'm sort of regretting that option due to the effect on night driving.

Absolutely love your build...enjoy it! We just got a 2011 Cayenne Turbo (for my wife) and I have to wake up early just to get a chance to use it...she loves it more than I do, if that is possible. These things are a huge step forward from the last generation (we moved from a 2008 GTS).

amazing build best of luck. I am waiting on a similar build to arrive. Quick question, I notice what looks like a license plate holder on the front of the car. did that come standard or did the dealer add that for you. Again best of luck

I also want to know about this. How is the license plate mounted? Is it drilled on the bumper?

Great looking car! I can't wait for mine to get here!

How hard was it to install the clear side markers? That is something I will definitely get. It looks great!
