You will have lots of fun. I love mine and pull a 24' enclosed Haulmark with no problems. And I love having a manual transmission in the GTS. Good luck with the vehicle!

Congratulations!

Now check out the Racing form for trailer advice. My recommendations are:

- open aluminum trailer with electric brakes
- Featherlite, Aluma are good value
- Trailex is a bit lighter but more expensive

... It's a slippery slope.

If it is a closed one, IMO, one huge "improvement" to put on it, is a rear camera.
In my case (boat), I permanently fixed a camera at the rear of the boat, with internal wiring to the (boat) dashboard panel, and to a wireless transmitter.
It is an other (towing) world to have a video screen fixed on the mirror, (anyway useless when trailer and boat present). Strongly recommended.
I tried the side mirror extensions, but depending on speed (and wind ) ..they seriously tend to "flap in", and this is just not nice at all.
..my third cent !

Talking of Cameras, on ebay I found a rear camera for the cayenne that replaces one of the license plate lights and then radio transmits to a small screen I mounted on the dash. Works great for backing up to the trailer hitch and not smacking into my bumper. Worth trying to find - I think it cost around $130.

Default BONUS! Turns out my GTS came with a Tooki bluetooth system and a back-up camera

but I need to figure out how to work them. I found the web site of the manufacturer and some tech support. wish me luck....
