My Cayman S pdk racecar build
Here is a link to some pics of my CS pdk build. I will be testing the car on March 12th at PBIR.

Traction Control Defeat with PDK
What did you do to defeat the traction control, such as brake steer ? In a normal PDK Cayman, if you disconnect the accelerometer that measures slip, et cetera, then the PDK goes into limp mode. You can do this disconnect on a manual transmission Cayman, but not the PDK. This is my understanding from previous Renn List posts. Perhaps there is a way around this limitation, now ?
Thanks
Thanks

I am not doing the work but it is a question I have asked...

Is there any effective way to defeat TC without screwing up sport plus?

Who is running pdk and also running psm? I hear it is working well and there is no need to defeat tc. My Cayman is being finished this week and I am test at Sebring this coming weekend!!!

Went in for my dyno today and found out that you can't dyno a pdk car on a non-4 wheel drive dyno. The pdk trans goes into limp mode and won't "hold" 4th gear to be able to do a "pull". Now I need to find a 4 wheel dyno!

Hey Mike nice meeting you at Sebring. I was the tall guy with the GTS talking about PDK with you in the pits. I was following you during one session...great driving and the car sounded and looked great.

I finally was able to dyno the car today. The dyno was a DynoJet 424x linked AWD dyno. It took a while to get up on the dyno with the car being pretty low and also took a while for the operator to get a proper RPM reading. The HP was 305.6. I was looking for around 315 so I am going to be 175 to 200 lbs over my min weight. Is there a definitive driveline loss number?

If the driveline loss is 15% then that would be 360 engine which is what I expected. I had heard it was 12.5% DL loss. I will post pics when I figure out how to do so!!!
