Didn't even notice you got a Cayman until now...congrats.

How long before the Cayman follows the path of the 996TT

Sorry Cowhorn I am a little dense, what are you refering to?

If the why was the wing replacement, several reasons. One it looks "to me" better. two it gives more rear axle downforce which is a big help at Daytona, and three, Caymans are a dime a dozen around here so makes it a little more special again to me. sorry if your taste doesnt match mine check out the thread of pics on here if you really want to ask why.
and fouth it will match my carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, mirrors, and front hood, and my other car. look at my "other car" for my frame of reference. Looks, performance, and weight savings.
thanks for looking and asking

tom

Thanks, the Orange is rare especially on the East Coast. Where do you plan to get the other carbon pieces like the front splitter from? I have the carbon side vents from FBL but I understand they are no longer available anywhere.

Retired....hung up the helmet.

He's getting ready for grown up stuff (college visits, SATs, etc)....He wants to be a radiologist.
His sister is in her junior year at college becoming a (pediatric) nurse.

I view it as I'm subsidizing my own future health care program!

I found the CF vents on ebay. will probably get some stuff from rennsport as they are high quality and give me good prices. Hood probably from GettyDesign, and maybe mirrors.
sourced the engine performance stuff mostly from softronics etc.

Lewis, time to get back to racing!! I am doing an enduro and four sprint races at Daytona in two weeks come down and drive the Cayman!!
