Default 996 cup splitter pre purchase through Demon Speed. Commitments?

Running total as of 2 Dec (post #34): 50 splitters

This is for a pre-purchase at a reduced price from expected retail pricing of $165+. Please consider buying a minimum of 2 and update your post accordingly if that's acceptable (and I'll keep track of the running total until we get there).

5 Dec - Talked with Ed via email about the number of commitments we have and he is going to firm up pricing from the injection mold company. Provided everything works out as planned, he will provide an estimated timeline and confirmed final price which can then be pre-ordered through the Demon Speed website.

Thanks to Ed for taking this on and thanks for everyone for the pre-commitments to get the ball rolling!

All,

How many 996 Cup Splitters, manufactured new by Demon Speed, can we get commitments for? Ed tentatively believes 50 commitments at around $150 ea for preproduction orders (final pricing to be determined) would probably be enough to hit the go button. These would be constructed using an expensive plastic injection mold and should function and look factory correct.

Given the interest I'm in for my preferred 3.

Who else is in?

Thanks,

Jim H

PS - Ed please correct anything I may have gotten wrong and also post a link if you're going to offer a way for folks to pre-purchase on your website.

I just bought two of his fiberglass versions, but would commit to buying two more if it helps.

If he has a way to squish it up into a box to ship it to Aus, I am in for one.

So timely. I just annihilated my splitter today at CMP in SC when I was reminded of what happens when you mix cold temperatures and slicks. I donated my splitter to a hole that was slightly off track between turn 13 and 14. I’m in.

Yes, it can be. This is a big advantage of the plastic spoiler over a copy made in fiberglass. the other advantage is how well it handles bumps and scrapes vs a good plastic spoiler.

Thanks for the help and support everyone.
