whats the difference between 997.1 and 997.2 for wheel fitment?
dose the 997.2 have wider front or rear fenders?

The 710mm tall "RSR" tires were used on these and 997.1 cups in the Grand Am series, but the rear fenders needed to be flared and often the inside of the wheel well needed to be "tubbed" for more room inside and above the tire. My Grand-Am car had that done while I owned it.

997.1
9J x 18 ET43 (1” OUTER X 8” INNER)
11J x 18 ET30 (2.5” OUTER X 8.5” INNER)

997.2
9.5J x 18 ET37

12J x 18 ET30

7.1's are narrow body tubs, 7.2's are wide body (wider front and rear).
