997.2 Cup tyre size range / possibilities
What tyre sizes can I run on my 997.2 cup?
The car has come with:
Dunlop
Front 245 650 18
Rear 305 680 18
Pirelli
Front 265 645 18
Rear 315 680 18
Can I fit Michelin
Front 27 65 18
Rear 31 71 18
or are these too big?
Any advice would be much appreciated

I have a 997.1 with most of a 997.2 conversion done.... a little bit of messaging and easily running a 285/645 front and 315/680 rear. I could probably get a 295 or 305 up front with a bit more work, and the rear would easily fit a 325/680 as it sit (still have stock narrow body rear 1/4 panels on, just trimmed and rolled a tiny bit). I think to run the 710 rear the inner wheel well would need to be changed to the Grand-Am style.
My example is all based of the Pirelli P-Zero's. Otherwise my car is on 'stock' cup suspension specs... no fancy R/RSR bits just yet.
Michelin's seem to be some of the smaller tires, Pirelli in the middle and the Yokohama the largest, going off the "sizes".
