I would hope so. Just looks like the rad and a few brackets. Doesnt look like u got the wheel or pushed any of the suspension parts. The crash bar looks fine too.

I wish, the whole front part has moved, that needs to be replaced. The left front suspension lower arm snapped. There is also some damage in the back as I hit front right first then rear right. That carbon engine transverse in the rear is broken, Front and rear bumpers, rear wing side plate gone, muffler needs to be changed. This is what they could see.

Video. Feels quite stupid really ! I normally take this corner 15 to 20km/h faster. Once the oversteer happens maybe it was recoverable by accelerating and aiming right but I did not do that. As I said I think the main reason is that I am not focused enough, buddy next to me decided to "take it easy".

The current thinking is that the front needs to be cut behind the frunk and hopefully nothing else. The rear hit was a lot less because it was in the tires vs the rail for the front. Still the carbon piece in the engine in the back is cracked in 3 places. I guess this carbon piece is used as a fuse. We will see.....

wow! that really sucks, especially since it was an innocent looking spin... One positive to take from it is that no one was hurt.

Ugh sorry to see it, I think your diagnosis is correct. Just a little late to get to throttle and the back got light with too much steering angle.
Glad you and the passenger were physically OK.
By the way, if you end up rebuilding, PM me and I'll help you get your brake trace working on the VBOX. Took me a lot of finagling but I figured out the details on it.

Sorry to see this. Always crappy.

Please don't take this the wrong way... we all make mistakes, but you were miles behind the car and also seemed to make no effort to save it. The rear started coming around and you promptly lifted which made it go all the way. The tires were also definitely cold. You had 1 very easy lap prior to the spin.

I think this is the same corner and similar move to Michael fassbender in the road to Le mans videos.

Did you look at your tires after this. The video sounded like you had a very off vibrational / harmonic sound. Like a bad diff or bad tire.

Yeah, lifting was the wrong thing to do for sure but this is what I did.

I guess maybe I should watch this video lol.

Edit: found it, yes same corner.

You mean all the way thru the video ? Tires were old and almost done. Not sue about the diff, never checked it.

Remove that gearbox and check the diff! It sounds definitely not as it should sound...

Just for comparison: Here is what a healthy 991 Cup- gearbox sounds like. Yours is way to "rough".
