Cordless Impact Wrenches?

Milwaukee 2867 M18 1". I use this to remove the nuts, works great. No need to have someone hold the brake or wheel.

A thing to remember is as soon as you put an adapter on, you're loosing torque. There was a post above that mentioned bigger battery... I agree, or even a new battery. I use Milwk M18 3/4" (not sure how old battery was), but got a new one (same size) and tool worked much better.

Same process for me: M18 IW, followed by Sunex TW. Have tons of M18 tools and love them. Nitrogen is safer than electric tools. Take care to avoid fuel vapors with electric tools.

I just noticed on the description at dundon, it says this is compatible with the cup car centerlock, it'll just drive the porsche socket tool.

I am kindof surprised that no one has mentioned the fact that a standard impact gun will only work well on one side of your cup car since the nuts are reversed on the other side of the car.
I think all impact guns do not have the same torque rating when tightening vs loosening
We sucked it up and bought the paoli impact guns designed for this application. We had to buy one gun for the drivers side and another for the passenger side so the torque ratings are the same when tightening.
The other reason we did this was because you can not use electric guns in the hot pits so when qualifying and changing tires there isnt time to torque the wheels like in the garage/paddock.
