Is there a link or site that has all of the images of the different liveries? Would be neat to see what they were. Definitely some good ones I’ve seen. Thanks.

Not that I can find, yet, but it would make a great addition to https://www.racingsportscars.com/dri...tippler-D.html or elsewhere on the site. Join up and contribute y'all!

As a fellow supercup owner, this is so great to see. It’s awesome folks are keeping these alive and well. Love the silver. Keep the updates coming!

Vapor blasting: is that how the suspension parts look straight after that, or are they painted / coated in this image ?
The new interior paint will make it even more perfect. Many restored cars don't go this extra mile.

I've been a long time advocate of how special and rare these 996 Cup are.

Good luck Colin, keep us posted

My 2004 Supercup is also on my 'keep' list

Vapor blast is a fantastic process. I built my own system from an old dry blast cabinet. Some pics attached of my 964 suspension finish after a diy vapor blast. The key to the finish is the bead size and then pressures. Dial it in and the parts come out looking like jewelry.

I am eagerly awaiting the next update on the super cup

Update! It's coming together and starting to look like a car again. We are waiting on some parts, like a proper 996 cup fuel tank. A prior shop had "fit" a 997 version in by beating the crap out of the sheet metal. Now that is all fixed, so only the proper tank will fit.

You can see the original Supercup motec system is installed as well. Downside is this system requires a trackside beacon, but it is correct for the era.

Congratulations. Looks amazing! Might I ask what was done to the exhaust system to get it to look like that?
