Default 996 Cup and Racetech?

I have a 2001 Supercup and it's time for a new seat. I plan to run a Racetech 4119WTHR and the dimensions seem to work out using a tape measure. I also want to know if the shoulder brace component works with that factory cage.

I am curious if anyone had first hand experience.

Wont fit

The tall version wont fit height wise.

I have had two of the 119s now. One in my 944 race car and then another in my 996.2 and in my current 997.2.

Mine are the non tall version which work perfect for me and im 6ft tall

I had a 4119HRW (Standard Size) in a 997.1, and I had to replace it because the halo hit the back and side of the cage when I tried to move the seat further back for my height (6'-1"). I agree with Daniel, I don't think the taller or wider seat would fit well in the cockpit. Maybe if bolted directly to the floor without the factory sliders (?).

I have a 4100wthr in a 997.1 cup and it fits easy… but I don’t have the standard slider mounts in, and I’m 6’4

I installed a new Recaro Pro Racer XL and it fits perfect in the car and still on the sliders. Thicc Boy approved.

I had a Racetech 4119 in my 996 cup. I mounted it without sliders, It was not the wide version though.

I sit waaay lower than that, and I’m. 6’4 and 140kg…

but the racetech has multiple seat base cushion options, I also took out the sliders as I’m the only driver and I wanted to be ultra low in the car, it makes it easier to get in and out with long legs, lower COG and I felt like I wasn’t going to hit my head on the roll cage
