I've had one of my 996 Cup Cars licensed for street use for a few months. Nothing beats the thumbs up (and sometimes thumbs down!) from fellow motorists. Even had a trooper pass me then pull over a Tesla :-)

I have driven my 996 Cup on the street . To say it was horrible is an understatement. You would have to soften and change alignment on everything if you want it tolerable and then it would suck on the track.

I hate even driving my cups to grid, I prefer one of the mechanics take it for me. They are just painful to drive at less than full throttle (especially with sequential gearboxes) and have the turning radius of a battleship. But it's cool to see someone take one on the road!

I did change ride height by an inch or so and realign. Also has DOT rubber. And yes if would not be as good on the track. But this car is retired from track use and I have other cars for that. But it would be fun to drive it to a club race and then compete 😂
