Default Cup Car with legit Montana tag and title :-)

I've had one of my 996 Cup Cars licensed for street use for a few months. Nothing beats the thumbs up (and sometimes thumbs down!) from fellow motorists. Even had a trooper pass me then pull over a Tesla :-)

I can’t believe you don’t have ear plugs in! I drove mine to some car event down the street and couldn’t believe how loud the gear whine was. I can’t wait to see it and watch you try a 3 point turn!

This is beyond cool. I have driven mine a couple of times around the block in my local village (mostly to avoid 3 point turns) and it’s an experience!

Please tell us what you have done to the car to make it road worthy. Suspension? Cooling fans? Clutch? Etc?

So do you drive it to work and back and just picking up scrambled eggs from the grocery store? 😆

This would make owning a cup car a little more attractive if you could also occasionally enjoy it on the street between track days. Real question is how did you do that?

Man, I thought registering my 964 cup was hard core. But this is on another level!

My grandmother drives faster than that. No wonder the cop didn't pull you over.

Same suspension (which is a fancy JRZ setup just raises ride height by an inch or so. Clutch. Is a 4.0L RS street clutch. And yes some super duper cooling fans added. Which make the cabin like a damn Sauna. But fine.

Toyo Proxes. Not many choices given wheel dimensions. Period world challenge sponsor too!

This is the same car that was used to model the early Forza 1 and 2 games. Mike Fitzgerald's 2003 World Challenge 996. Chassis is super clean never hit. It's not a wrap - it's paint 😂

Engine is a spare Farnbacher 997 cup engine from grand am days in 08-09 era. Prob 40 more hp than a regular 3.6L cup.
