997 GT3 Cup to Rally and cost questions
Hi,
I am looking to purchase a 997 Cup with the intent to Rally it mainland Europe, mainly Poland and Belgium. Has anyone here have experience witch converting a 997 Cup to tarmac rally spec? What did it cost you?
Speaking of costs does anyone have ballpark figures what a weekend/event costs overall in a 997 with tyres parts etc etc.
thanks!

That Australian car is not allowed as it still has the cup cage fitted.
I believe it is quite expensive. Rollcage needs to be changed (at least for Belgian rally's), suspension, final drive (because cup is to long), handbrake, space for a spare wheel (some use the rear window for 1 spare wheels and the front trunk for the second I believe), underbody protection, cooling fans (cup doesn't have that), and I'm sure I forgot some things.
