Default Manthey vs Porsche auto blipper

So, anyone have experience in both auto blipper? pros and cons and cost difference? I seen the Porsche unit up close last week at Laguna Seca ALMS and they sound great and racers all love it. It's a pulley system under the sequrntial housing vs Manthey extension lever to the gas peddle. I know where to order a Porsche auto blipper but I could not find a place that sells the Manthey unit ... and the cost?

How much did it cost and did you have to push the rod all the way up to the gas peddle without gap to make it work properly? 20-35% throttle? Do you ahve a picture of the setup?

I have the Manthey unit. I think I paid $1500 for it second hand. The owners manual suggests leaving a gap, but it seems to work best when the roller is closer to the pedal. If you want to PM me your e-mail, I'll send you the manual. It's in German, by the way...

I cant remember what i paid , i would have to go through my records. I want to say right at 2k? I had to make an aluminum extension off of the pedal to reach. Works brilliant. Sorry i have not any pics. From what i know, Manthey is the one you want

I think the general consensus is the Manthey is cheaper and better (if installed right - I think Orbit sells them and can help with installation) but the Porsche supplied one is required in some clubs (IMSA) so if you have any IMSA aspirations you should get that one.
