Hey Mike, ironically you mention that about me racing against my clients as someone asked me about that during the LBGP weekend when I was sitting there next to Dino. He actually responded for me and said the following...... "Well I am going to be racing against James whether in a GMG car or my own Porsche so I may as well hook up with him and have access to his data and engineering which will only makes me go faster....."
That's exactly how we structure our WC program....it's very open with a free exchange of data and engineering. I think it works as Dino has won twice in WC since joining GMG and he had never even raced a Porsche before he bought his first car through me.......so actually we want our drivers/clients to do well as it shows we can support all types of clients with all type of requirements/goals/ambitions.
And believe me when I say I actually love it when my clients beat me......check out the Youtube clip of the 2009 WC race at WG where he wins and I was 2nd until the end but got bumped to 3rd.....I bum rushed Dino on the podium and picked him up like he was my 2 year old boy, all while congratulating him for winning the race......one of my best feelings in WC, it was his first WC win with GMG. Here is the video:

Very cool, you obviously are great at setting up those WC cars!!!
It always strikes me as a little weird seeing teammates race against each other. When one is also a client of the other it could get ugly if their is a collision.
Good luck at the next race!
