FS: 2001 Cup Car, WC spec.
Price: $60,000
2001(+'05 updates) Porsche GT3 Cup, World Challenge spec.
I bought this car from a Rennlist member (Fleadh) earlier this year, I raced it in the NASA series at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele UT, and also did a PCA race weekend at Miller. The car spent some time in Canada for our local feature race (Eurasia Cup) at the Edmonton Indy race and is now back with Tatum Racing at Miller Motorsport Park in Utah. Here is the link to the original Rennlist ad, https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=66276
The car now has 40 hours on the motor and transmission since being refreshed by PMNA. Since purchasing the car I’ve added the following items, new driver side net, center net, 986 advance driver Cooling system, new rear Lexan window, replaced front OEM windshield, new brake pads all around at 35 hours, new Tilton 4-paddle 5.5 inch Clutch at 35 hours, recertified the fire system, wired for radio system, new Porsche Motorsport Electric Power Steering Pump, new seat rails, new front lift jack assembly and drivers seat back support brace.
Included with the car is 2 extra sets of BBS wheels with very used Yoko tires, I also have all the paperwork (including JvO setup data for the car) and receipts since the car was new. The car is professionally maintained by Tatum Racing at Miller Motorsports Park, feel free to call Jerry Tatum and ask about the car. Link to Tatum Racing: http://www.tatumracing.com/
I'm selling the car so I can move up to a 2010 997 Cup and I don’t have a need for two Cup Cars nor the budget to maintain them.

so just to be clear, it still has the goodies the overbeeks did (rsr wing, suspensioon tweaks, etc) plus the updates you did.....are you including the tools (air jack wand and the torque wrench)? to answer boo johnson's question, these cars should put 330hp to the wheels, and a 40 hr motor should easily meet that unless it has a problem

Correct, the car still has the goodies as you say, that were installed on the car by the prior owners, I made no changes to those items.
Air Jack Wand is included along with the oringinal car cover, no torque wrench, I never had one and with Tatum Racing doing all the track support I had no need to buy one.

Regarding the "WC" motor, it all depends on the specs it was built with at that particular time. When we were racing our 996 in WC back in 2005/6, our cars had the BIG compression motors that were making over 450HP at the crank............more that is.
But I believe this was a very early version of the 996 WC Spec Cup motors.
Either way, sounds like a nice car for someone in that price range.....
