Default FS: 991 GT America complete factory exhaust

I got a original 2014 991 GT America exhaust complete with headers. We took it off the car as we are using a different system. The system works on all 997 cup models.

I am asking 6500 for it.

I assume that is an M&M ? Do you happen to know what differences in spec are vs. the 991 IMSA spec cup are ? No center at all, different diameters ...

The system is the OEM from Porsche Motorsport. M&M among other companies build these for Porsche however there are others that porsche contracted for that as well.
The differences are bigger diameter and no center muffler as well as no kats. We see about 10-14% power increase with the GT America/ Supercup version verses the Imsa challenge version.

Thanks. 10-14 % is more than I would have thought. Let me check into install time as this would be a play toy for when we are not running in an IMSA event, but we would have to convert right back. But if you are talking about a legit 50 HP gain, that is huge.

It is a legit gain. Install time is around 20-30 min. That's how long we take.

That's a huge gain. I've seen twelve to 15 hp gains w other M&M over porsche factory stuff but fifty would be awesome

Well you take the kats and center muffler away plus you increase the diameter by quite a bit.

definately. nice to open those cars up a bit. M&M makes the best stuff, and somewhere i had heard they made a bunch of stuff for porsche. cant recall when i read that.
i think it was when the Rolex cup exhausts kept cracking, etc.
i wonder if thats an M&M.
what a business porsche has. slap a 997.* tag on something and up goes the price by 40%.

I am actually a M&M dealer and we supplied quite a few systems to the grand am teams. Pole winning and lap record cars both ran our systems.

OK, I checked with my guys and they swear I won't see anything remotely close to a 10-14% or roughly 50 HP gain vs the IMSA setup. Dumping the cats and the center muffler simply won't be that significant and they believe the diameter difference will be minimal in effect. I don't think the GT America vs IMSA setups are more than 20 HP different from the factory, the former with a 4.0L motor and the trick exhaust/header setup already on the car....so what am I missing here ?

We had a 12% gain on last years Daytona car with this system vs the regular imsa cup set up. Granted that was on a 997 but should be the same. The M&M with heat wrap was even better.
