I love the car, it's just too much power for me. I considered keeping it and detuning but at that point it would be a waste of potential.

JB weld is logical first step before shelling out money for a new casing. There was a pinhole leak and the JB weld appears to have done it's job. My shop (who works on these every day) noticed it and recommend that as a first step. If you are racing go ahead and spend the dough on a new casing. If you are just doing DE (as I do) the jb weld seems fine.......

Yes jbw will fix the leak, i used it many times in similar situations but it's was just temporary fix.
If the case has small crack in it it could be welded for permanent fix.

Looks like FLSupraguy bought it on BAT... looking forward to hearing the results. Where is the car heading to? The pictures show it in Joliet Illinois, will be heading to the track tomorrow to pick-up a car

Car is heading to north east and will be raced at Lime Rock, Watkins Glen, NJMP, Summit Point, Monticello.

Car was sold in December 22, currently refreshing it and getting ready for test days. Hopefully I can race it this year.
