Still don't know how it's getting 78 MPG. A Toyota Prius can't even do that. I guess we need to wait for real-life testing.

The killer stat is the weight - nearly 1,700kgs (dry) - that's 300+ kgs more than the CGT. It will, of course, be an amazing car, but three things mean I won't be buying one - the weight, the hybrid elements and the lack of a proper manual gearshift (the CGT's being the best of any car I've driven).

All that said, I can't wait to see one on the road.

I'm not buying one because I can't afford it.

As far as I know it's $875k here in the U.S.

I'm sure it will be very cool, but too much first adopter premium for me. I decided on a GTO. Much cheaper

it sounds like one of those cars that the computer can drive insanely fast with only one foot and one finger required of the driver. a technical marvel, for sure, but a little lacking in soul. that being said, I'll reserve final judgment until I drive one

I'm sure you're right, but you're a little verbose, so I took the liberty of editing your post for brevity and accuracy.

It is one of the very, very last analogue "hypercars", along with the Zonda, period...

Gentlemen, an era is ending...
