9,000 miles since purchased new, new battery under warranty - not a special battery, but it is buried in front of the right rear tire, new starter which I believe was the same starter as a 2005 GT3 uses. On second set of tires due more to date then wear.
The Carrera GT really is a great and unique car and given the direction of the auto industry, there will not be anything like it produced again and that is too bad.
