In which case you should sell and buy back in a year for a third.
That is one of the dumbest posts I have read in a long time imho.

How about this. I ll write an option where you deliver me a 918 in a year for 325k with say 2k miles in good condition. I ll have my attorney work on the documentation as soon as you give me the go ahead since you know so much about the 918 market. Please let me know.

I take back what I said,,,, That is the dumbest posts that I have read in a long time.

They are building 918 of them. There is a lot of demand for them and they are great cars.

America is great.

Porsche is a great company.

You have a right to your opinion just as I do and my opinion is you are an idiot that does not own a 918.

He is saying that he has that something that's vomit inducing. And I figured he is in the process of thinking about cutting it off so he can be a true woman.

I never think of my own parts as vomit inducing. That's a new description I haven't heard before.

It's still not listed as being entered into the auction. They "anticipate" it will be soon though.

I was offered $1.4m for mine by a dealer with an interested party and turned it down... I honestly don't think these will keep going up, they will eventually go back down and maybe in several years start to creep back up again.

I think any downward pressure on prices will occur when the 3-year holding period for the VIP program expires. Then, 10 years of VIP allocations will be locked in and a seller doesn't lose any opportunities by letting go of the car. One has to price out the value of VIP allocations for limited production Porsche cars to estimate what is going to happen.

The Barrett Jackson car's original depositor would retain 3 years of VIP allocations after holding the car for 6 months after delivery. If sold after 6 months, years 4 - 10 of VIP access are forfeit.

If the car belongs to a dealer principal or affiliate, they may not sell the car until all 918s have been delivered, no matter how long they have had it.

This is quite interesting in a game theory sense. Retail customers should be insulated from pumpers and flippers to a certain extent. The past-3-years short term should be fascinating to watch.

that only applies to US cars. The VIP program is run by PCNA directly.

In the UK, for example, 918 buyers were only guaranteed one other car if their choice. Most will take GT3RS and then they are reliant on informal relationships, not a VIP program.

Why are people speculating on what speculators will do? Just drive the car and enjoy it.

P.S. If someone is writing 3-year call options on 918s, please PM me with the premium amount.
