That's life right there folks. Doesn't get any better than that.

I get that with my son, although we've never driven in the car together (yet) as neither one of us is an instructor. But it's a lot of fun going out with him and playing lead/follow.

Thanks for posting.

Had the pleasure of sharing a hauler with him at Daytona in 2015. He's such a friendly and humble guy. I hope he decides to come back to North America for a bit more sports car racing. He's one of the good guys.

Any man who shows such emotion and pride in his son, and whose son obviously respects and loves him back so openly, is a good guy.

Rubinho is an emotional guy--recall his F1 win for Ferrari (Hockenheim 2000?) just letting loose on the top step. Looks like one heck of a dad, too

I have been lucky enough to grow up with a Dad who loved Porsche and I got bit by the bug too. He didn’t track or race one, but I found myself loving the track when I finally got into a Porsche. Then I was able to have my dad join me and co-drive many weekends... that’s what made my time at the track so much fun.

Excellent! Had a similar experience with my son at his first track event in my cup car.
But even better is watching him work in my business with such passion!

He was so close with Brawn in 2009 to winning a drivers title; probably should have been him and not Button to be honest.

Thanks for posting! My daughter was crying when I was teaching her to drive a standard shift car when she had a learners permit! A few years later she bought a BMW X3 with standard trans.
